Government of New Brunswick

The Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries is working with its partners, including the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the Department of Environment and Local Government and the Emergency Measures Organization to provide guidance to farmers impacted by flooding.

Staff members with the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries have begun the process of reaching out to and meeting with farmers with operations in the flood zone.

Staff will be working one-on-one with farms to assess their individual situations - including the location of the farm and type of farm - and to provide guidance based on various risk criteria.

Farmers seeking guidance are encouraged to call (506) 453-2108.
