Overview
Class ICE Compressed Gas Licences authorize holders to work on caburation equipement.
Eligibility
To obtain an ICE-P Propane Internal Combustion Technician Licence, applicants must hold a certificate of qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act in the automotive service technician (electrical and fuel) trade, the heavy equipment service technician trade or the truck and transport service technician trade, and must complete a training program and examination which is acceptable to the Gas Board.
To obtain an ICE-NG Natural Gas Internal Combustion Technician Licence, applicants must hold a certificate of qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act in the automotive service technician (electrical and fuel) trade, the heavy equipment service technician trade or the truck and transport service technician trade, and must also complete a training program and examination which is acceptable to the Gas Board.
To obtain an ICE/IV-P Propane Internal Combustion Industrial Vehicle Technician Licence, applicants must complete a training program and examination which is acceptable to the Gas Board.
To obtain an ICE/IV-NG Natural Gas Internal Combustion Industrial Vehicle Technician Licence, applicants must complete a training program and examination which is acceptable to the Gas Board.
Description
An ICE-P Propane Internal Combustion Technician Licence authorizes the holder to install, service and repair installations on any propane carburetion equipment.
An ICE-NG Natural Gas Internal Combustion Technician Licence authorizes the holder to install, service and repair installations on any natural gas carburetion equipment.
An ICE/IV-P Prpoane Internal Combustion Industrial Vehicle Technician Licence authorizes the holder to install, service and repair installations on propane carburetion equipment on industrial tractors and lift trucks.
An ICE/IV-NG Natural Gas Internal Combustion Industrial Vehicle Tehnician Licence authorizes the holder to install, service and repair installations on natural gas carburetion equipment on industrial tractors and lift trucks.
