Real Property Tax Certificates are issued based on the Property Account Number (PAN) provided by the requestor. There is no credit or refund of the fee due to a Tax Certificate being issued as a result of an incorrect Property Account Number (PAN) provided by the requestor.
However, in the event that the Tax Certificate fee has been paid and then determined that a certificate cannot be issued the credit may be applied against the requestor's next order simply by contacting the department at 1-800-348-9211.
