Overview
The Women's Equality Branch promotes the use of gender-based analysis in problem definition and problem solving and provides consultation services and advice on this type of analysis of initiatives and policies.
Eligibility
While this service is mostly meant for government bodies concerning public policies and initiatives, requests for advice and information from nongovernmental groups will be answered, if the potential result is improved service to the general public through more inclusiveness and gender equality.
Description
Gender-based analysis is done to improve the efficiency and impact of policy and practices, to make them more inclusive and responsive to the needs of all concerned citizens and to reduce inequalities between the sexes and between other groups in society.
