Overview
A Geophysical Licence entitles the holder to conduct a Geophysical program in the area specified in the licence.
Eligibility
Any person making application to the Minister.
Description
A Geophysical Licence is granted for a term of one year with the option to renew for terms of one year each from the date the renewals are granted.
Geophysical exploration - any investigation of the subsurface of the land and including:
(a) Seismic operations,
(b) Gravimetric operations,
(c) Magnetic operations,
(d) Electrical operations,
(e) Geochemical operations,
(f) Test drilling, and
(g) any other operation employed to determine geological or other subsurface conditions.
Fees
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
