The Sevogle Strip Silver occurrence, discovered by Brunswick Mining & Smelting (BM&S) in 1988, is located in the northwestern part of the Sevogle Silver property and historical Ag soil anomalies (≥ 2.5 ppm Ag) occur across the property. Data was only found for six drillholes on the property, including two holes (MAG-88-1 & MAG-88-3) drilled by BM&S to test the silver zone. Hole MAG-88-2, drilled proximal to a silver soil anomaly in the northern part of the property, intersected 3.1 m grading 5.6 g/t Ag. Impressive silver soil anomalies had been identified by BM&S in 1982, with values on the current claims ranging up to 44.0 ppm Ag, which supports the strong potential for the occurrence of multiple silver-bearing zones.

In 1994, Freewest Resources conducted a soil survey over part of the property and reported significant anomalies with values ranging up to 99 ppm Ag.

Three holes drilled by Votarantim Metals in 2013–2014 likely focused on testing potential base-metal targets.

In 2015, trenching was carried out on Claim 7519 in the vicinity of historical Ag soil anomalies. Local anomalous silver values were returned from silicified, altered rock and quartz veins with values from grab samples up to 10 ppm Ag and a 1 m chip sample ran 7.0 g/t Ag. However, the 2015 trenching program was confined to previously clear-cut areas and the mineralized occurrences found in the trenches did not adequately explain the extensive silver soil anomalies.

BM&S reported trench samples up to 850 g/t Ag and two drillhole intersections with 6.7 m (5.3 m TW) grading 105 g/t Ag, including 201 g/t Ag over 2.76 m (1.9 m TW) in hole MAG-88-1 and 2.9 m (2.1 m TW) in hole MAG-3 grading 28 g/t Ag, including 0.78 m (0.6 m TW) grading 67 g/t Ag. BM&S was primarily focused on base-metal targets in the Bathurst region and prior to trenching carried out in 2019, only the BM&S trench and two drillholes had tested the silver zone. The 2019 trenching program identified silver-bearing quartz veins up to 126 m west of the discovery zone and grades from the 2019 trenches ranged up to 1430 g/t Ag with 0.37 g/t Au.

The claims cover 1119 ha, are on Crown Land, and are located approximately 50 km northwest of Miramichi. A main logging road crosses the property and secondary logging roads provide easy access.
