The Environmental Management Manual outlines the methods which the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure uses to plan, design, construct, operate, maintain and rehabilitate highway facilities (roadways and structures) to minimize environmental impacts, in a manner consistent with federal and provincial environmental regulations.
This manual replaces both the May 1998 Environmental Protection Plan and the August 1998 Environmental Field Guide.
